What's Up on Wednesday?
Just glad that it nothing that they were looking for and hopefully she will be well soon, as well as your granddaughter, with a house full of kids, clutter sounds like it will keep you busy, either you will get younger by the minute from all that you have in front of you, or just really in need of a spa day, heck, you should have a spa day just because. . .

Woke up feeling well and rested and NOT swollen...eyelids puffy, but not like have been. It is 81 here already and VERY humid. We have a strong west wind off the gulf and does make a difference.
Good travel to work. We do tend to forget how rush hour traffic gets. I know Monday morning we left for our VA app 40 mins before and we are like 10 min away. We got lucky with lights and not bad traffic and make it there in 15. Hubby has PCP at 2, so we will be judging traffic again.
Diesel prices coming on down$100 in on Monday, price had dropped to $3.88. Found a website that compared and reported on prices throughout area. Our RacTrac was the best.
Trish do you have to travel far for your job? Enjoy the day.
Even after 7+yrs, I can still dump on certain foods, even those I have had no problem with in the past. I can't drink milk and mus****ch intake of some cheeses. Fried foods are a bomb sometimes. Can be scary. One of my biggest problems is the foamies....especially in the morning. If I am stuffed up and begin gagging, the foamies start until I "puke". Not nice. Yesterday's post on mindful eating was a super reminder. Chewing, small bites, savoring the feel, texture, and taste of each morsel is important. I used to wolf down food and lots of it, never putting my fork down. Having a full feeling should be comfy, not hurting. Drinking alot of water helps too, but not at meals. Also protein first is still so necessary.
Hope Sue in CA, Bev in CT, and Connie are doing well. Nice to meet new people here...I wish I have saved some of our "hello" advice posts to repost again.
Lynn, when do you fly down? Carla, I will get in touch about next week...need to find out how quick hubby will get specialty app with VA doctors and I have my first app with new Internal Med doctor I chose locally...scared I am what blood work will show.
Prayers please that new VA PCP is a good listener, compassionate, focused on care provider. Hugs, Monica
Happy carefree flight to here!
Hey Monica,
I have to travel 30 minutes on the turnike when it is not rush hour, 45 minutes during rush hour. I am four exits away from the town my hospial job is in. When I originally worke there, while I was still teaching, I worked on weekends, except in the summer. Then, I also worked during the weeks, filling in for the therapists on vacations.
Now, I will be filling in for social workers. My supervisor mentioned a maternity leave, sick leave, and vacations so far this summer.
Thanks for asking.
Hugs,
Trish
